I'm just learning the real basics of DArk GDK .net but i'm having a problem with how i am creating sprites / images. I keep getting "Object is not an object" error.

What i'm doing is this:

Baskers, can you trace through the code using step debugging and tell me which exact line the problem occurs?

I need a slightly larger example to find the problem.

Paul.

I bet you the line:

is not finding the file test.jpg and so the mickimage object returned is null.
So when you use it in:

it gives you that error.

Visual Studio creates all sorts of directories, like Release and Debug. Find where it puts the .exe file and make sure the .jpg is in there. I ran into a similiar issue with my .exe trying to find my image files.
