I would like to know if there is a way to make a video play before the level loads, or if there is a way to make a video play before the main menu loads.

I ask because in front of every main menu, the title appears to say who made it and at the start of every game, an opening scene rolls before the level loads. I can't figure out how to do it. I would appreciate it very much if someone could tell me how to or even if I can. Thanks!

There is but I can't think of how to do it before the main menu.
but there a few game demos out there that does that. like Alex Angel chronicles and Automatic Update.

Most likely they are using 3rd party applications (or modified FPS Creator source code) to perform the actions you are wanting to do.

FPSC x10 doesn't have any source modding yet and the Alex angel is made in FPSC x10. But as fat as the third party stuff sounds right. If alex angel didn't look and act like it was done with just x10 i would be 100% with you on third party. But like I said I have no clue about it. Other then exe soft protection software i would not know how to do it in x10. Try asking over in the fps-online site cause that were you can find alex angel.

Making Video Play Before Main Menu

Edit the titlepage.fpi file....
(C:/program files/fps creator x10/files/languagebank/English/gamebank/mygame)

Add the following line of code to the begining of state=0



Make sure the video file itself is contained within {Documents} FPSC X10 Files/videobank folder.

Playing a Video Before a level loads

Here is what the code looks like for a typical level loading Page


Here is how it should look to get it to play a video before loading a level... (This changes to the loading file must be made after building the full game or demo for release)
