This should be in script section but ill answer anyway. You will need to create a script at all costs,no way around.I suggest you download FPS EditPad and check out some tutorials like community guide. When you get stuck somewhere just ask,we will help.

Here's an idea.
Take a picture in game using the F12 button. Then drag it onto windows movie maker and save it as an avi file. Now apply that file to a story zone.

Or...

Use this script.

both are equally plausible ways. if you made parts of the pic black would they be transparent in-game? or would they not as it's an avi file? just a thought.

Why would you use a single image to make an avi? this would only increase the file size tremendously if you wanted the image on screen for any length of time, would be simpler to show a single image using a timer. Avi does not have transparency, when editng a movie you can have selected colour transparency for layers but not for finished output.

Sorry but, could you not simply just use a Storyzone? Just take your image, as long as it's jpeg (what I use), and you just have it in your FPS Creator > Files > Videobank Folder - throw up a Storyzone in your game, go to the Visual property field at the bottom of the Storyzone's option, open that up (which really just opens your aforementioned Videobank Folder (make sure the picture is in that folder)), and simply click your image to be set up in the Zone; now upon entering the zone, your image will appear - no scripts needed aside from what the Zone uses itself.

I realize you said you were wondering how to make it show up with a Trigger Zone man; but, as you said you were new, just thought I'd direct you towards that idea as well. A lot less complex if you're simply just trying to get a picture to show up upon stepping into a particular area.

Sorry if this isn't what you were looking for though.

Cheers
