try copying the texture from the folder you have it in to the built game directory.

Sometimes its a problem with shader/dynamic lighting settings in the preferences or the build.

In any case run the CLEANER before you make changes and save or build a level again.

In case you find my grammar and spelling weird ---> native German speaker ^^
