You might want to remove the weapon models you're currently illegally using from your "game" before the original authors take action.

Let me be clear. We take stealing/pirating/etc. other people's IP very seriously here; but we need solid proof of ownership. Proof can include wire-frame shots (side-by-side comparisons), texture map comparisons, etc. Of course, we would need to see both the item in question (such as weapons in this thread), as well as the original item; in order to compare.

Anyone caught will be banned permanently.

Vicarious is actually Racer...the one who made the AK47 tutorial everybody talks about.

I generally wait till there is ample and actual proof, before acting.

Tried making an account there myself; but I have to wait for admin approval before posting.

That last post on the thread, that you posted, says that: This is rediculous.

So he is saying, that they are the same weapon. And how they just like that, that the stuff here is stolen? do they have any evidence of that? No. Just one guy said that the stuff here is stiolen.

No, that would be me.

I would like to request a full credits list at least. Most of the original authors are on CDG and don't care how you use their art, just as long as you credit them. However, I know most of the original authors here and one in particular would hate his stuff being used without permission. Messaging the person who submitted the release on FPSBanana does not count as getting permission from the original authors. All that person did was upload it.

That being said, it's obvious that I would not make the claim that it was stolen if I couldn't easily prove that the weapon art here is indeed from other authors. I did not post

It appears I have yet to be approved at those Forums; so I can't actually have a dialogue with those throwing around accusations. I'll keep this open for now; in case they have anything relevant to say.

Assumed it was you, since you started the thread there.

Just because that someone else's personal attitude it different from yours doesn't mean that he isn't trust-worthy, and I think it's pretty obvious that he's being sarcastic..

Sorry, it's hard to tell sarcasm through text sometimes. I was under the impression that black profductions had full permission to use the models. Let's just hope that this ends nice and clean with no trouble.

@ black frofductions: I've been working on the Molten Byte Design newsletter, the mbd_update, and I was hoping you'd be able to take some time to answer a few questions about your game, Calibre. If you're interested, let me know and I'll send the questions over.
