How do you get it so that when you walk up to it, the paper shows up on-screen and the player can then read it easier?

Thanks!

Hi Lan, Take a look in in the Official Guide, here, http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=131868&b=21, this should help you a great deal.

Download Paint.net this will allow you to create .tga and .dds files which if you are creating a game are necessary to be able to create and open.

Can photoshop, Gimp, or Regular Paint? I have all of these, but don't want to download any more.

Photoshop you will need an NVidia plugin (search the NVidia site for DDS). I am not familar with GIMP as I use photoshop.

MS Paint cannot create either TGA or DDS files sorry.

gimp can... but the plugin is difficult to find and install properly. paint.net is free and it has a lot of useful features, that is what I recommend. if you don't want alot of space taken up just burn MS paint files onto a disc and then delete it from your computer.

I find that paint.net is easier than gimp. No plugins are required to open and save pictures to a .dds format. In terms of GUI it is easy to navigate to what tools you are looking for.
