Ive just made this gun ambiance , there is a loud and quite version of it , just depends what volume your looking for.

All the gun sounds are from Model packs , none taken from any site

File is a rar btw

[Mod Edit: You need permission to distribute anything from the models packs from their rightful owners.]

Enjoy

Did you make the sounds or did you steal them from the modelpacks?
Sorry for accusation, but since you wrote:

well , you could say I took them from the model packs , not stole

I never saw any info on not using the sounds for anything though , I dont really read the readme , just skim it.

Well if he is restributing soundfiles from the official modelpacks without permission from the author, I bet he wont be fine.
Sorry, I dont want to start any kind of flamewar or such.

I had to ask Janet (at TGC) if I could use the stock sounds for my weapons, the only requirement was that I only released it together with my weapon in the GCS. Nowhere else.

Yeah, Bigsnake I don't think you should be taking these sounds from other model packs, it's not your own work. Nor do you have permission do you?

No. But the author/owner can protect a recording or digitally synthesized audio file of a gunshot. Your sea-lawyer logic is getting pretty bad.

Ceci n'est pas une gunshot!

It's very bad form and against the licensing to yank assets from model packs and redistribute them (modified or unmodified)without permission. I often chop up and reuse gun sounds from the stock FPSC weapons and have approval to do so. However, I'd never think to take something from a MP.

Allowing this would only open the door for others to try using the same excuse on music files, models, and so on. Probably best to leave that door closed
