oh one other thing- just extract the hummer folder straight into the entitybank\user folder in FPSC... the texture will not work anywhere else unless you edit the FPE file.

No... the texture looks pretty bad on that, it's all blurry and such.

well, i just downloaded it from turbosquid, like i said... the problem is i have no skill at texturing, and so i cant make a better one myself. But ya, when i tried it in game the texture really sucked. You know, im going to convert the .jpg texture into a .dds and see what happens.... wish me luck.

here is the download with the scale set at 65-- this seems to work okay-

(please dont say that the texture looks terrible without actually looking at it in a test game... it is much better!!)

Scaling the model up isn't going to improve its texture quality, and changing the texture from .jpg to .dds isn't going to make a difference either.

The texture looks so low quality because it is; the texture size is only 256x256. If you upload the UV map, someone might be willing to make a higher resolution texture for you.

This has been on FPS-Files for sometime, it is a pretty old file and the texture is terrible due to you have to change the scaling of the model in order for it to be accuratly sized.

Thanks for the effort though.

That will actually make it worse, because now you're stretching and distorting each pixel in the image by 400%

Yeah, when you stretch out an image it will eventually get blurrier, and when you shrink one down it may look sharper. Not sure if this helps or not, but use the Unsharp Mask tool and see if its any help.
