Hello all.

This is my W.I.P side project Tilted. I am entering it in the Mind Trix competition, but I may continue it afterwards. Unfortunately, due to the amount of time it takes to make the levels because of the unique design and style I'm going for, the progress will be slightly slow.

The game is not truly dedicated to horror, and instead of following the routine zombie shoot em up, I wanted to play off of a specific type of fear. Acrophobia, or otherwise known as, fear of heights. This game is designed to mess with your mind in ways that no other FPSC game has attempted.

A screenshot, to let you all see for yourself.

Keep in mind that this game is not for those who have eye problems. I'm not joking, I played it for a few minutes and went to bed with a enormous headache.

Just a warning

Cool, looks nice. It'll be interesting to see if the collisions will work with objects tilted like that and the floor not being flat.

I had this idea. I had a short part of it in my entry, so I'm not copying anything. So you are working with x10. This will be interesting!

Looks great, but I would try to make some normal maps for those. Good luck with your game, Gears!

Not at all. I don't have a copyright on it, so help yourself.

I'm in the process of making them now.

Looks very confusing, I myself probably would get very dizzy but would still want to play it.

One suggestion:
The first picture depicts numerous objects seeming to fall to the left due to the angle of the hallway. The refrigerator on the right seems to not be leaning against any wall or entity... Either add something in 'front' of it, or do what I would suggest most: have a cord (maybe some electrical wire or something) attached to the back of the frig to make it look, in a way, 'hanging'.

Nice job, looks like a very, very interesting puzzle game. Keep up the great work.

Thanks for the kind words everyone.

I actually have that in the picture, up in the top right corner. It's really hard to see though, so I might change that.

I am glad that you all think about it that way. It means I am doing my job correctly.

I've seen it all. Except for myself ever not failing at something.
