I'm trying to complete a game, but only one problem remains. I would like a door to open only when player has picked up the dossier which is on a desk. I've tried a great many things, to no avail. Hope someone can help me. I do NOT want the door to open if player does NOT have the dossier.
Thank you!

You could just place the name of the dossier on the Key field of the door , And make it a key door , so the player won't be able to open the door except when he has the dossier .
You must change the door HUD of course .

Or, you can make the door a remote door, place a trigger zone with the main script as plrzoneactivateused, and then enter the name of the remote door in the "If used" column. Place the trigger zone where the player picks up the dossier, and so when the player steps into this zone (only once) the door opens.

Assigning a key .fpi script to the dossier, and using it as you would a traditional key, is the simplest and best way to pull off this effect.

Also, the dossier has its parameter "isobective" set to 2 and when you use it it will automatically win the game. Make sure the parameter is set to 0.
