Looks interesting, funny how you decided to showcase them in a DBP program instead of FPSC though.

they look great in fpsc but my video card will not normal map them at all so i decided to use dark basic pro to show the detail.

Dang, they looked really cool with the normal map. What video card do you have?

is a ati radeon hd 3200 graphics card, For no good reason ,lol, its will read direct x 9 shaders for other programs like 3ds max and even Dark Basic Professional but not in fpsc. thanks for the good comments.

Oh, that's why they don't work in FPSC for me then...

@CoffeeGrunt
if you have the same card i do then we are in the same boat

@mastercheif 193
I know right this sucks becouse I see many other people on here with there shaders working right for fpsc but not for me.its a little odd how they work with dark basic pro but not with fpsc considering it was built with dark basic pro.

in not shure where to do this, but i figure if they work in other programes then it should in fpsc right? my point is if they work in other programs then I shold not have to set my video card settings to show shaders right?

Yes it should. Check where it has the options to change the quality of the texture and it should be right above it, saying Full Shader Effects. I remember there is a tutorial on how to do this in the official community guide to FPSC.

Not really, shader management differs from engine to engine...

Im not shure, I have been working real hard on thease modles and textures and animations, then putting them together takes alot if time. I was going to relise them for free but then i started ading up my time and relised alot of it is being put into my hobbie,lol.if i dont relise them for free they will be very cheap.like mabey $3.99 for the whole pack or what ever you guys think is worth it. you let me know, but my wife said i better start making a little money on them.

He's quite nice, but his texture looks a little flat. I love the intricate details on his armour, but they aren't really supported by any joints or hinges to allow him to bend his arms, they're just solid metal.

Maybe add a belt texture between the red skirt thing and the torso too, as the change in texture is very obvious. The same goes for the change from arms to hands, maybe a link in there our a bracelet or something should smooth the transition between textures.

It's a cool mesh, and your work looks at the higher end of this board, so I'm sorry to always post crit on your thread! Hope this is helpful, cool character....speaking of which, do you have any attacks for him yet? I made a combo ages ago that you could have

I want robotic legs.

I have made one attack for him but its not yet done, I like your ideas about the belts, I also think his txtures look a little flat and i will work on it for shure.Im thinking about changing his upper color and bump design to something else so his upper armor is difrent then his shield.thanks for the animation, cant wait to check it out.

I like the model and texture, and yes like Butters said in some parts he doesn't look too 3D, he looks a little bit flat. I dunno, maybe throw in some bump mapping.
I like how the texture plays well with normal maps and speculars. I would love to see them ingame.

Wow - the screens looks very impressive.

The only weak point seems to be the fabric part. Why not stick to an armor set thats pure metal? I am sure it would be easier and look as good as the last version. The metal parts look more convincing after each new screen.

thanks, ill give 2 options, the full metal and the more leather look.

I made a new video, this is pretty cool, most of it is the level i made but this modle is in there to. its pretty low quality video, i think ill upload it to utube for better quality. he looks real good in game though.

The Sword is just the shield texture alot of stretching on the skirt, and the back of the helm goes furthur down, no offense but it isn't your best of models.
