okay...to start i would like to say that i am constuction and fps...i have amodel, and have made the controls so you can: walk,idle,attack1,attack2...now that i have that, what is the next step in making an fps? could one of you more advanced people post maybe a checklist or something of where to go? i think i might possibly be able to do all parts of an fps(hopefully, but i will come back to this board with a whole shlongload of questions), but i need a helping hand here...any help would be nice and thanx in advance

for starters you need a world for your character to play in. What are you using to build it?

weapons,enemys(models),ai,levels,?scripted events?,menu,saving,loading,?multiplayer?
thats all i can think of at the moment come back when you've finished

jumping and crouching would be nice, a crosshair to aim with, maybe vehicles, if you're willing to learn it:physics, strafing if you already didn't had that, gun turrets, sounds for guns, footsep sounds, holding multiple weapons, picking up weapons, health system, magazine system and more of that stuff

Specs: AMD Athlon 1800, 256 DDRRam 266mhz, 80GB HD 7200rmp U133, Geforce 4 Ti4400 128mb ddr sdram
