can mods please move to models and media

This is a single shot weapon. Its an arm with a laser attachment adding awesome firing.

And yes , it works with X10 and X9

Well, at the very least, putting it in the wrong section brought it to my attention.

I don't normally dwell in the models area, nor do I usually download content, but I think I'll give one a shot.

I'd love to see this decked out in shaders
I'll post a screenshot after I'm done playing around with it!

[EDIT]
For your next model, can you make sure the textures saved into the model (their filenames) are not absolute paths? I can see exactly where on bigsnake's computer the textures were at! They should be local paths... as in, filename only and not the path starting from the drive.

[EDIT2]
Okay, after a ton of fiddling with FPSC trying to figure out why the shaders weren't working..... or the crosshair, for that matter. It turned out FPSC wasn't very good at using the .png files, but making .dds files manually for everything worked out just fine!

All in all, it's a fun weapon! Overly powered, definitely, but that's tweakable at least.

Constructive crits for you: I was unhappy that there was no reload animation included (or at least, none in the gunspec). It would be nice to have the option of making the weapon reloadable. The animations need a little work. They're nice, but they seem very jerky. The idle animation especially needs to be smoothed out, it shouldn't be bobbing up and down when you're standing still. The firing could use a little bit of slowing down, and I think if the cannon is mounted on top, then the arm would jerk up and back instead of downward.

But it was fun to play with regardless!

If you're interested to see how it went, I've attached a screenshot of it. I'll follow this up with a couple more I took.

The one and only,
