I played Obscure ( If anyone know it ) , It has a story line of course , But the game was an opened place , You can go through any door and come out , some sort of a one united level , Can it be done ?

With FPSC? No, well not unless you heavily modify the source code.

I had an idea but it seemed idiot , Can't it be done using nextlevel=x action on each door ? it will need A LOTS OF LEVELS !

this can be done like you just mentioned (pretty well actually) OR it can be done like in the first post... with a computer that owns and very little detail in the whole level. FPSCs map when fully configured with all buildings out of segments, none of them go-in able gives my computer:

pentium 4 2.80 ghz
512mb ram
intel non T/L graphics controller

using no lights and medium trxture quality gave me an average of 14-18 FPS.

it all depends on the computer

Yes you can be done, but a detailed free roaming game will result in heavy slowdowns even on the most powerful machines.

Rubbish.

You could make a very large open-world game with FPSC, Using the door method you stated. You could have up to fifty large sections. Hell, if you did it right, you could easily have a game 1/3 of the size of Fallout 3's capital wasteland.

I suppose the nextlevel=x on each door is the most situable soloution , It's going to be compilcated because the story lines , But I suppose hard working with activates and vars will do it.
Thabks all .

like I said- it depends on the computer- my friends comp 4gb ram, vista, dual core 3.3 ghz processor geforce 9800 series gfx card ran that at 38 fps EVERYWHERE with fullshaders on, high texture quality, and lights. buildings were not go-in able.

although doing nextlevel=x would much better allow the game to run on computers that are less performance-oriented.
