I promised in another thread to upload a new door this week but (EDIT) it'll take me some time because I decided to make a whole Door Pack (I found out that retexturing flat walls is not *that* much fun as doing stuff thats more 3D so there wont be any more building packs atm)(/EDIT)

Thats why I decided to work on retextures for Fantasy doors, windows, stairs & stuff.

Here is the first one

The retexturing was a little copy/paste, reworking contrast and color and putting that serpent(?) ornament over the "Reichsadler" I colored it to be compatible with MP 23 (the wall is from that pack) but it should also work with some of the segments from Wolf & McCrazy's medival pack.

The door is still the stock WW2 door, just a bit recolored but I will try to find something more worn.

Here is a new door design. It still needs some work for the edges and the handle but it will be ok

And this is the finished door:

The tricky part was the handle because it draws the texture right from the door itself. It took me a while to locate the exact area. To mask the metal plate, that I did put down there to give the handle a metal texture, I had to put some others all over the door. But the result is very satisfying I'd say. Its cool how far a little copy&paste can take you

Sure. Like the "Black Beast Tavern" it will be free since I only retexture stock models.

This one is gonna be a Dungeon Door Pack consisting of 2 different frames (maybe with different textures each) and at least 4 different doors.

This is the retextured Double Doorframe. The door itself is so freaking cool that I just recolored it a bit - but of course I'll be texturing some new double doors too

EDIT: The ornament on top turned out a bit too *washy*, I'll give it a litle more contrast/depth before the final release.

This is the new Studded Double Door matching the single door:

The reworked ornament on top looks much better now.

Since I like matching doors so much (I'd try to avoid mixing doors in the same level at all cost in my own games), I turned the single stock Steel Door into a double one:

To create the handles I used this one from CGtextures:

Here are the last ones for now - the wooden door from my "Black Beast Tavern" and the matching double door:

All thats left to do, is to add the right sounds (especially the stock metal doors need something better than the stock "click" sound ) and do the boring icon-producing work.

Glad you like them

There is one last design I'll have to try out, then I can finish the pack.
