I had this set up before and it worked fine.

Now instead of the link using DBP to compile the code from darkedit, it just opens a blank dbp window.
No error messages.
I have tripple checked the darkedit edit option darkbasic option
D:\Dark Basic Professional\Launch.exe

Confused as to why it does this instead of compile like it used to.
This time arround I do have an update to the DBP installed. (Upgrade7.4)

I don't get what you are trying to do, but if I get you correctly, you would want to link to the DBP compiler, not the launcher (which, as you've already noticed, launches a new instance of the IDE).
Set the link to D:\Dark Basic Professional\Compiler\DBPCompiler.exe instead. As said, I'm not quite sure what you're after, so I can't guarantee you this will work.
Also, why not just use the default DBP editor instead?
Or the new one?

Also, you should be aware that DBC code usually doesn't compile without a few tweaks in DBPro.

Hope that helped

Weird not sure why Launch.exe worked before if it was not right option...
I set it to DBPCompiler.exe and now it says
Failed to "Load DBA"
Failed to "Load DBA"
(it says it twice.)
I had also installed the compiler updates so maybe that is part of it?

So for now I am gonna go with your advice and just stick with the default.
