Ok, so im kinda stuck on this one. I have wings and milkshape (trial) but am undecided on the best one to use for my new game. Im not looking for animations, just models to go in the game. Plus wings is free . Which one will be the best for the job?

Thanks in advance, Martin

Well wings is easier then milkshape for quick creation, humanoid/complex models are easier in milkshape, guess it depends on your ability and skill and what you prefer.

Use both. IMO

It's the other way around,Milkshape can't really do organic models as it only triangles therefore the only way to quadruple the mesh is with the Tesselate option and well if you've ever tried this,or just have played a bit with high polygon, you would find this ridiculous.

I made a thread like this one...

Well...in fact its oposite ...Wings is better for modling complex things. As pure modeler, Wings is better. Power of Milkshape lies in fact that it have all you need for making game model ...modeling, texturing, animating. And its easy to use so I recomend it for begginers.

If you dont need to animate than stay with Wings and take LithUnwrap for texturing (its free)

Check out gameSpace too - only recently announced by Caligari (makers of trueSpace).

As far as the wings vs milky - personally I prefer Milkshape.
