My question is this: Is DarkBasic (either Pro or Classic) advanced/fast enough to do realtime pixel manipulation? I am trying to find a way to make a program such that if I pass 2 bitmaps to it, it can overlay one bitmap on top of the other, but let you see through to top bitmap to the lower one in areas that fall within a certain color range. I know it can be done, but is there a way to do it fast (like 30 fps)?

i think 'set image colorkey' although that only allows you to specify a specific rgb color
