Hey guys, I was looking at some old EAI posts and this pic caught my attention:

I was wondering if that is the M16 from the model packs? And whether the ironsights are the ones found when using Airmod. Also, the only thing keeping me from using model pack weapons is that all of model pack 9 and 10 weapons are held at a slant, and when you zoom in using airmod, its at an angle. Is there any way to fix this?

Wow. super old pics. Before hands lol

The top pic is just a scope overlay but it was dumb because you could mousewheel zoom. I'd post the overlay if I had any clue as to where it was.

I know at least one user was able to remove the canting in fragmotion or something like that.

Compared to the latest texture (EAI's 2008 WIP thread), they're horrible.

EAI, I recon that you should make an M16A and an M4 Carbine. They are good weapons (COD4) and i would buy them

Also, EAI, what modeling program do you use?

The slant is very easy to fix if you have fragmotion, all you do is rotate the whole model.

Now THOSE look like some bad guns! (what i mean is AWESOME!)

Any chance of giving these to us?

And as teamhalo said, its very easy to fix the slant in fragmo (you cant do it on certain weaps for whatever reason though, they're all messed up)

To fix that problem you'll need autodesk mod tool(free)
Just import the hud models and re-export them to .x's,and then reopen in fragmotion.
Seams to work. Very strange problem indeed.
Oh and if you need an in-depth tutorial on the axis-correction, let me know.

Hey hey I was just about to ask about that!
Teamhalo, an in depth tutorial would be very very much appreciated indeed! I have tried rotating in fragmotion to no avail and quite frankly I don't know at all what I'm doing
Thanks!!

It doesn't fix anything, merely reduces it. The combat 44 still came out with retarded hands.

So you imported it in XSI, and then exported into another .X file using XSI, and then imported it back up in fragmotion?

Yes. And I made sure the new .x file was text and not compressed.
