I just got Dark Physics and I do not have the physX drivers for my computer, I have an NVidia Geforce graphics card and Windows XP, where can I download the drivers, I can't find them?

-Thanks!

from the nVidia website?

Not all cards support physx, i know my 8800 does, but not my 5200 (oddly enough, lol)

Without Music or Love the world would be a very empty place... Thank god I still have music.. --'-<@

Well....to be fair, ALL computers running Windows OS (XP or newer) can run Physx drivers from the nVidia website.

Physx Hardware mode:
If you have a more recent nVidia graphics card (GPU) like a series 8 (8800 for example) or newer then the GPU can run physx drivers using the GPU hardware which is MUCH faster allowing fluid simulations in real time etc.

Physx Software mode:
If you have an older GPU like a 5200 then the physx drivers will be run in software mode using the CPU, slower but adequate for most things, just not fluid simulations.

And Prof is right, just go to the nVidia.com website.
You used to just download the drivers, now they want you to download the version of the drivers based on your GPU type.
Good luck with Dark Physics, it can be really fun (and frustrating at times) to use.

http://www.nvidia.com/object/physx_9.09.0814.html this is the driver set for all systems, but only 8 series and above can run in hardware mode. In case this link breaks, go to the driver page of nvidia and below where it asks what card you have there's a list of "Additional Software and Drivers"

And unfortunatly, my PhysX card has been disabled by Nvidia's 9.X physx drivers on purpose.

I hate Nvidia..
They don't care about customers, its all $$ in their eyes. Meanwhile ATI listens to their customers, and has forums dedicated to reporting issues and talking with ATI developers.
