Just wondering are there any important differences/advantages/disadvantages between the different model formats Pro supports, .x, .mdl, .md2, .md3?

pro also supports 3DS and BSP (Update 5) but bsp's are worlds/maps
Anyway to answer your original question, I dunno

I know that .x models are bigger then .3ds but they load much faster.

Specs: AMD Athlon 1800, 256 DDRRam 266mhz, 80GB HD 7200rmp U133, Geforce 4 Ti4400 128mb ddr sdram

isnt there a custom format already? .dbo or whatever it was called.

I assumed because of the db part it was a dark basic format.
