Git... thought mine would arrive too.... still, a chance to test out my login...

Don't know which is better, getting DBP really soon, or being off this week, and getting my new car next monday... sorry DB, but a Turbo beats you right at this second... give it about 3 months though, if I'm not dead or just got used to the damn thing

Cheers

Now if only that supermodel would turn up with my lottery cheque... it would all be complete....

I am 99% probably lying in bed right now... so don't blame me for crappy typing

Oh my word Dazzag, you're old! I feel old. How old does that make you feel?

But on a nicer note I'm driving a 306 GTI 6 and I'm living down in Bournemouth, so how do ya fancy a street race? I know you're gonna whip me on the high and the acceleration, but I just bought some intergral type R 17s to replace my old wheels and now I hug the corners. Ooooo yes. haha.

Also, as an Computer Analyst / Programmer, are you a solo programmer, or would you consider teaming up on projects? Just testing the water here.

Nice, like the GTI 6. Dunno, a Subaru is supposed to stick to corners like glue though

A solo programmer? I wish. Nah, I program travel systems. Think Lunn Poly and Thomsons. Doesn't get much more exciting.

Teaming up on projects? Maybe. Once I got my s**t together though (been away for a while, just getting back to normalish). What projects are you thinking of though? I have several work related things that I really want to get moving (VB based) and I really really need to get back into DB pronto to regain my sanity. Email me on dazzag999@hotmail.com if you are interested.

Dazzag, I popped ya into my MSN Messenger contact list thingy. When I asked if you were a lone coder, I meant as far as darkbasic was concerned. Generally speaking I've always done projects by myself because it's rediculously complex to organise a bunch of people to cooperate on a project, especially when they're unable to hold their interest for more than 2 minutes.

Haven't got any plans for a particular project yet. I'm thinking about sitting down and planning something out on paper in preparation for getting dbpro. I'm just gathering potential contacts for a potentially big project. It's handy to get to know some people who have some ability and know what they're doing.

I've got 500MB of online webspace with 20GB/month bandwidth etc etc sitting around hosting a small 50MB webspace. I'm also able to dish out FTP logins and quotas of space, so I'm thinking that any potential future crew could easily be organised there, with forums and places to upload code and media and communicate etc. Just idea right now. I've got your email, so I'll keep in touch mate.

Yeah, I'm pretty much thinking along the same lines. That reminds me, must dig up that 500mb of webspace I bought last year and attach my site to it (not much at minute, been too busy/distracted).

Sounds good though, talk to you later.

Cheers

Oh yeah, been a while since I posted, but a few distractions came along. One obvious one being the Subaru. Grief, that car can fly when you put the pedal down. Grrrr... glad I didn't lose that metallica CD now

What are you talking about mate? Put a big sub in the back of your Impreza(?!?) then head on over to my site, download some proper music and blast that! haha.

Who did you get your 500MB with btw? I think mines with mysqth.co.uk or something along those lines.

Can't tell you without getting out of bed and going down stairs. Basically bought it about a year ago. Was going to get around to transferring the domain, but hadn't the foggiest on what to do at the time. Then my company got took over and lifes been upside down for a year (the reason I've been away).

I'll plug the Nirvana in tomorrow.... or the Megadeth.... you can see the pattern I'm sure... and now to get rid of that Iron Maiden T-shirt...

Cheers
