I'm sure you guys have answered this question so many times in the past to newbies like me, so here comes my version:

When you add a sprite to the game, the background colour goes dark blue... Why is that and how do you change the colour.I've tried the 'backdrop off/on, color backdrop' commands, but when I turn the backdrop on, the sprites are drawn under the backdrop.

The problem comtinues... I want to put a sprite BEHIND a 3D model. If I 'draw to front' the sprite comes infront of the model. If I 'draw to back' the sprite is drawn behind the backdrop. It's a no-win situation for me

Try using the Draw to Back and Draw to Front commands.
