Hi I just got X10 and installed the mature patch yet is dosent work any advice note is there new scripts cause what it does is the thing where they vanish

If you have bought the software, then I would go to your order history and download the patches from there. That way they should work

thats not needed Ragdoll is better with the power of 2000 but you need the mature patch for blood N Ragdoll

I seem to be having issues getting the blood working as well. First yes, I bought fpsc, and yes I downloaded the patch from the site.

Anyways after I installed it, I had to update the game again from the automatic updates back to 1.09 (Teen). That wouldnt of affected it right?

I havnt really played with ragdoll yet, but noticed when I attack an enemy the splatter off them is still grey....

Not very realistic when I chainsaw someone for a spray of grey mist lol

lol if you went back to 1.09 teen yes that's your problem. Now that you are at 1.09. Go back the the patch installer and install it. Make sure FPSC is not running. Once its done run FPSC it will be mature. Rag doll is by default on all the FPSC entity's, when you kill them they rag doll. Make sure the drivers for your graphics cards are updated. What card are you using?

Well I didnt know that updating it after you intall the mature patch would invalidate the mature patch. Using the mature patch is one thing, but I dont want to knock myself out of future updates because it removes it each time.

And I use a Radeon 4830.

It shouldn't remove it each time, but on my first install it went to teen, without re-running the mature patch installer I had to re-update to 1.09, it was a wierd glitch.

Well problem is I also cant use the mature patch without updating it. For some reason it screws up my weapon entitys, I redownloaded it twice same problem.

So I just auto updated it back to 1.09(Teen), But with 1.09(Teen) I have another problem as anytime I kill an enemy it refuses to use anything but the fade script on destroy.

I'll set the enemy entity destroy to leave corpse for example, and while it will work fine with the other patches, 1.09 it still uses the fade which looks a bit lame.

Dunno if it's a bug in 1.09 or what.

The reason it only does the fade thing is because its \"teen\" that way its less violence so mothers don\'t flip and sue <--- lol... Though that is a weird bug. When you run FPSCx10 go to help \"Check for updates\" It should say in a small box (Current version) and something like \"1.09(teen)\" IF it says this close out of x10 and go to www.thegamecreators.com and log into your account. Go to order history, and re-download the patch, before you do this delete all the other patch versions you had before. Then download and install. Once thats done run the cleaner (I always do) and if you want to be even more super sure. Restart your comp. It should then be mature. If not post again.

No idea bignsake, I would assume because its some what realistic? and yes the blood does suck. Still people flip over the most stupid stuff.
