his chest and body seem a little freaky to me, like too low or something ... and his pantaloons are really - a tad TOO puffy.
cept from that is a sturdy model.

indi>>> well i still have to improve him bitt before I lett him fight his firsth battle

Raven>>>thanks... for body and chest, it should be Ok acording to normal human anatomy, I used reference for modeling it.
For pantaloons ...in fact I need to make them even more puffy, I am not satisfied with them.
This is what I need to reach:

thats example of early 17th century moda

He looks like a monkey in a negligee (and no,he doesn't look that much like my fiancee)

hehe Maybe he's a rookie so when LeChuck has the time,he'll cut his hand and give him a nice hook to replace it

Coming along niceley, maybe scars and the classic wooden leg could crook him a bit more.

Is that a photo on the face?If so,try removing some of the fake lighting, that looks way too much artifical plus, when the character will get somewhere darker,it'll look even badder.

Keep it up.

For scars and wooden leg ...this should be just ship capitan not a pirate. The second one should comme soon

me being teh expert on pirates, yeah your top guy doesnt look pirate enough, give him a bandana on his head, an earing and a cutlass and he is on his way. But i do like that spanish musketeer looking dude, he can pass as a pirate, might wanna make his shirt a little mor epuffy and change his hat to a tri corne. otherwise he looks too much like a musketeer, uh thats if u wanted him like a pirate, i didnt read the post.

@ acturas: haha le chuck ruled, monkey island pwnzors.

edit: i jsut realized they were the same model, how silly this pirate be now. alas i still stand by my opinion.

Anyway, yeah tone down the make-up on this guy, you don't wanting him looking too "femine". I think you're better off doing the hair yourself.

in fact i wanted him to look like musketeer. In early 17century everybody looked like that, it was just general fashion to be drest like that. There were no diferencies between hove people dressed. Nobleman, soldier, pirate, merchant all were dressed in the same fassion. just look at pictures of greatest pirates ..no wooden legs, no eyepatches and no parrots ...all this is just a image which was created much later by romantical writers

Ewen black flags with skull was in use just from 18th century. Earlier pirates used flags of their nations or just simple red flag, which was general signal for attack and hostility commonly used in navy.

...those highlights ...yes you right i should tone them bit down
