Hey so it has been a while since I released anything so I thought I would start a WIP thread about my progress with "Ruins V3".

I have some bad news, due to my finacial state I may be charging for this pack, it won't be alot, probably £3-£4, but that all depends on what I put in the pack.

Anyway here are some of the entities:

I am also working on a subway part of the pack, I have most of it done but I will show that off later!

Any ConCrit is welcome.

Nice

I think £3-£4 is pretty cheap for quality media, so will keep an eye on this topic.

I only use this for fun and have no interest in making commercial games ^_^

Looks cool.

Jeku always gets drunk and tries to Moderate the ocean. Tirelessly slapping the waves as they roll in.

Yeah I'll do it on here:

I get the basic colour I want, and the use the clouds filter in photoshop.

Then depending on what the texture is, I go to CGTEXTURES.COM and I choose either a grunge map or a basic texture that i use as an overlay,

I then change the blending of that layer to eithe multiply or Overlay.

I than use the burn and dodge tools to bring out the edges and give it a worn look.

I hope that helps (ask if you have any more questions )

Hey man, good to see you back, and with such incredible looking media to showcase! I've always loved your texture work, and this stuff will be great for the big Xmas Competition for sure. Sorry to hear about your financial situation though man, I know how you're feeling - I'll definitely be purchasing the pack upon release, you can count on that.

Cheers

Life would be much easier if I had the source code.

Looks good Dr Parsnips. I'm certain it will be excellent work just like your other packs.

I'll be looking forward to this pack.
