I'm not exactly a "script expert", as I've been studying the guides and info from Plystire and Xplosys, but your last line:

Quote: "
:state=4,plrdistfurther=50:stopsound,state=1
"

Would that line not tell the script to go back and it starts playing the sound again because the player distance is within 500, yet you are at the distance of 50.

Or

Should the line be:

:state=4,plrdistfurther=50:state=1,stopsound

That was the line that jumped out at me.

Cheers

IIRC, I thought stopsound only worked on looping sounds. I'm still learning, so apologize for not having the right solution.

If you take a look at this, where a sound is turned off via a switch:

:state=0,plrwithinzone=1:state=1,sound=$0
:state=1,activated=1:destroy

If this destroys the sound, would you not want to use "destroy" instead of "stopsound"?

Cheers

I'm glad to be of help. I guess I did learn something from Xplosys and Plystire after all

I'm not looking for anything free my friend. I did this because there have been others that helped us out when we needed help. One good turn deserves another. I'm more than happy just knowing that I was of some help.

Cheers

No problem Daniel. I appreciate that. We look forward to the talking guys once they are ready. From what I've seen, they look great and has given us some new ideas for our upcoming developments. I'll remind you as per your request.

Cheers
