Any image you load or create in Darkbasic can be a sprite.

i'm think you are looking for artwork (?) so check the 2d board here for lots of resources and information on where to find more. if you're looking for something specific, try posting on the 2d board as a number of people have various sprite sets laying around or can refer you to other online resources.

And don't forget Google - you'll find lots of free ones to play with though some you may not be able to use in your projects.

Go to Google, type in Free Sprite Sheets and when you see the results, click on the Images link on the menu at the top left corner of the screen.

I tried to post a link into this post but the forum didn't want to do it...

thanks for the help. i will try it. I also wanted to know how to move sprites once i get them. For example a player sprite?
