I know that one shouldn't use to many arrays for memory reasons, but what is to many? I know that most modern pc's have somewhere between 128 and 256 megs of Ram, and arrays can't be that big, can they?

It depends on what sort of array it is as some arrays need more memory to store a single element than others.

I wouldn't worry about it though - your very unlikely to use all of the memory up with arrays and anyone with so little memory that they do is unlikely to have a machine good enough to run DB, DirectX or your program anyway!
