Hi, I finished my video tutorial last night for rigging simple weapons to EAI's hands, and get it into FPSC.
You can watch it on my website.
A little later I'm going to do a second one for more complex weapons.

Enjoy!

well, I watched it and I learned a couple things in my old age, lol. i thank you. What you should have tryed to explain is the position of the arm, the knife and the bones. this way we can create every thing from scratch, then do the positining our selves.

Does anyone else like it?
Remember, it takes longer for me to make these, than for you to make a comment.

Cool, I've never rigged a video before, so this should be helpful.

Very nice.
It reminded me a lot of a tutorial I once did for Darboven's XM8. (yours is better though)

That video you did CE back then opened me up to a world of rigging and getting my own stuff into fpscreator. You have no idea how much that one video you did a while back helped me. Now I can get weapons in fpsc in minutes.

Oh and on topic, sounds pretty cool general jackson ill check it out sometime.

Nice tutorial.

I'd also like to see someone do a video tutorial rigging EAI hands to a weapon which I tried once and failed at.

Actually thats not entirely true, I managed to rig them to a melee weapon but I totally avoided doing anything with the fingers. Pic attached.

In most of these how to rig a weapon tutorials its a matter of replacing an existing weapon with a custom one.

I'd appreciate seeing someone take a custom weapon and show how to move the hands / finger positions to fit with it when its not the same shape.
