Incomprehensibilities

Story: A war between U.S.A and Russia... Of course it has more but story can make lot of arguments. We are playing as Soviet Army(They raised up again in 2018)

Welcome to the forums man! Unfortunately I can only see one of your screenshots, the last one with added EFX Mod, but it looks mighty down good from what I can tell. Lighting is great, entity placement isn't too crowded but none too bare, I'm really interested in seeing more of this project for sure. And, regardless of argument inspiring pieces in your plot, I'm most curious as to what the rest of it entails for the player and the world around him.

Cheers

Life would be much easier if I had the source code.

umm what happened to the first post? anyway. I love the way this game is looking, although in the screenie, I noticed a ceiling type thing two segments above where you're standing, and it looks completely unsupported. due to the thin nature of segments, it looks too weak and collapsible. detracts from structurally sound look of the rest of the game. the graphics are great BTW.

naah, mate! it's awesome, people just don't seem to want to reply to good games often around here, see When Worlds Collide- half the posts are mine. I'll keep an eye on this thread.

No EFX mod can make it look good,it needs proper specular and bump maps for every texture and some real shaders not just a simple bloom and some water.

I love that shader! Very nice! very, very nice!

My pc can't run EFX mod eather... It can run some very top quality games, but not efx. Talking about quality, I need to install Dead Space again...

The bumpmap is slightly too intensive otherwise the shader is excellent.

Are you guys allowed to use those segments? I remember they were made by Wolf in Shavra. Calibre used 'em too. I remember Wolf saying that it's not allowed to use the media from Shavra, but anyways, on to my thoughts;

Looks great! Agreed, looks like .Calibre and has a nice Shavra touch to it with that red flare. Were you inspired by Shavra? It inspired most of my games, too.

Yes teh yare allowed. Before Shavra came, I found the texture from some free texture site. I can't remember, bot something it was. And It's also used in Virus too. And it was going to be used in The House, but I wont do that project.

It's on CGTextures.com. That's where wolf gets almost all of his textures.

Maybe its not, I just thought it was. I think that Modern Warfare 2 uses it as well.

A huge amount of developers use CGtextures. COD4, Half-Life 2, you name it.

Jeku always gets drunk and tries to Moderate the ocean. Tirelessly slapping the waves as they roll in.
