solved first problem. in addition, the step-through kept on giving me an invalid command error on the first line, even when the first line was a rem statement.

and the sync command doesn't always work.

the z-rotation doesn't work right with objects or camera's, but it can be worked around with objects:

rotate object 1,x#,y#,0
roll object right 1,z#

the roll command for objects then rotates it by the z axis taken of the objects rotation.

but:
rotate camera 1,x#,y#,0
roll camera right 1,z#

i'm not sure what this is doing, but it's not what the object code does. this is fustrating, because i can z-rotate the camera perfectly fine in darkbasic, but not the objects. a reversal of the situation with pro.

look in the code snippets for the basics of a plane snippet without physics or cool gravity tho.

so, it's getting fixed soon?

for some reason, code snippets don't work for me.

anyone know a fast and efficient 2d fill routine for painting an area?

Nope, the rotation system isn't getting fixed, coz it ain't broke. Check out the discussions on the DBPro forum ...

As for a fill routine ... why I just happen to have this one here : http://developer.thegamecreators.com/?m=codebase_edit&i=79f81fab338194ad84d6c1c9511dc753

It will give you problems if you run it in 16bit mode as it was designed for 32bit mode only.
