I suppose I might as well throw in my 2 cents

Giving away a free model in exchange for a comment is no more 'spam' than model request threads that require a comment to attain a model just the same. I don't see anything wrong with encouraging people to participate on the forum, in fact, I thought it was a good idea, which is why I decided to give it a shot. However, if the mods do see my contributions as spam, all they have to do is give the word, and I will no longer post them.

I don't really see how. The
quality of the models have more to do with the popularity of a thread than the way they're being handed out. It also depends on weather or not the people that see the thread chose to leave a comment. Quite a few of
my free model threads (no strings attached) receive 20 or 30 comments in less than a few days, from people just showing their appreciation (which I appreciate just the same). Is that also unfair to other thread makers?

That is in fact, very
true. But unfortunatley, you can't please everyone. But the way that those who miss out on these opportunities chose to handle the situation is entirely up to them. Weather they do the
sensible thing and just move on and wait for another opportunity, or they send you an email saying they will no longer purchase your GC store media,
or (and my personal favorite

), they tribute a hate thread about "Krawenwolf" for everyone to see, and then get themselves banned for a week for handling the situation so poorly. Just a heads up for what lies ahead,
