Is there a way to add a "LEVEL Complete" screen to our game so that before hoping into the level 2's loading screen it says level complete and after that it loads level 2.

We have done something similar where we place a trigger zone that displays a hud and then the next square from it we place a win zone.

Cheers

Maybe trigger a level complete hud and await a key press from the player to continue?

I only use this for fun and have no interest in making commercial games ^_^

What if you have to kill a enemy to complete the level? NO WIN ZONES!!!

EDIT: I think 99% that it would work if i edit code in destroy script of the last enemy. Anyway thanks for your help. It is Working!!!

I will tell you how to do this and it is simplistic for everyone. Start fpsc and go to the "build game" setting. In the "build game" setting go to "global script" setting. In the "global script" setting, scroll down to "screen overlays" and you will find "fade out image". Change this to whatever you like.

For those that like it simple

" Build Game "
" Global Script "
" Screen Overlays "
" Fade Out Image "
" Done "

Enjoy! It does work to see it in action try my FPSC Duck Shoot and die once and you will see instead of the blood fader I replaced it with Loser screen and added the loser sound to the players voice instead of the horrible "ugh". LOL

Here is a nice little thing you can add to make it nicer.

I use my own video so you can use yours as well. I create all my videos with Cyberlink Director. Just save your video in the default FPS Creator videobank folder.

open your loadingpage.fpi and on the very first script line that starts with : not a ; add this line...

;desc loading page script
:state=0:video=videobank\myvid.avi

save the edited loadingpage.fpi as loadingpage2.fpi

when you build your game in the levels loading page editor select loadingpage2.fpi as your 2nd level loading page

your video will play just before the loadpage displays your default screen.

Just a little something to spice it up.

Frank

Never give up trying. Just try it another way that works for you.
