Hi

Im creating some 3d models with Canvas Pro and want to make a viewer using DarkBASIC. Something similar to most FPS Games now where u can spectate other players using the mouse to control the camera.
I'm pretty new to this program and thought id get away with just rotating the object based on mouse movement which was Ok but not if I plan to use BSP worlds, collisions etc.
Can someone tell me the best camera commands to use?

Hi,

If you have DBP it's worth checking out the FPS example, that would be perfect for you wandering about a BSP level.

Online ref for DBP camera commands:
http://www.realgametools.net/glossary/index.php3?theme=1&level=3&chapitre_id_select=17&document_id_select=3

Some other peeps have written model viewers in DB so may be worth scouring the forums for source code examples.

Hope it helps,
Cheers.

plan to be disappointed when you want to use BSP collision and Automatic Standard Collision at the same time (regardless of which objects have them applied) they don't work together.

It's a known bug
