I have recently been working on a secret project entitled Modern Combat. I have been working on it for about a month and I wanted to unvail it with a demo as a Christmas Present to all the forum members. The demo has multiple problems (custom textures don't work ill eventually fix it) I actually copied my whole files folder into the games file folder cause it had even more problems before (build game problem maybe). Anyway Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. The full version will have a tutorial level that will explain all of this, but since this is the demo those little white squares on the wall represent bomb planting zones. Walk to them to plant a bomb. A full list of credits will be available with the full version as everything is subject to change. There is also going to be a special mode/level after game completion. I'm not sure if I'm going to reveal for fear of someone stealing my awesome idea (no it's not zombies)

the game looks very large and empty. it seems bland, and I don't see any of these custom textures you spoke of. I suggest adding some terrain to enclose the player in that general area, and using anything but the stock WW2 characters. also, the guys head looks to be facing the other way. fix your level design, and populate the area and then put another screen. I'm sure you'll improve greatly.

The WWII character was retextured, but after I built the game it change him back to stock same with the swat character. I had terrain, but the character couldn't move in it. This level was very rushed (i was trying to get something for Christmas). Yes the guy does walk funny lol. I'm going to add more to it, but its hard to create a stealth level in fpsc. It's a wip and don't worry that's going to be the only level like this in the entire game.

You can't just select the new texture for the characters in the editor when right clicking. You need to edot the fpi file of them.

don't rush, as stealth levels are easy in FPSC, it's not the level itself, it's the enemy AI. script them with low view cone angles, and and a high noiseheard, and they'll be stealth kill able. also, if characters dont collide with terrain, use it anyway, just stop them from reaching it.

Hey school's been killing me. I've had no time for myself. Even yesterday I had work to do. Most of the work was done this week and had to be cut short because of homework. So come on give me a break.
