This is my 10mm SMG that I created in Blender. I started out with a picture of Fallout 3's 10mm SMG, then added my texture, my own created hands, and animated it. What I would like to now is what everyone thinks of it. The Comments and Criticism that is give will help me make this better and make future weapons better too.

Thanks, guys. I am not the best when textureing, but I have developed a few techniques to create some pretty good textures for fabric, metal, and wood.

If you give me the UV Map, I'll give the texture a go.

theres no detail to it, it looks like some kid has made it out of a cardboard box, the whole side is flat like a tack! But good start.

Plus this was a test of hands that I been trying to get working correctly. WHY? because I do not have MP hands to use, or EAI Hands. Everything I am doing is in blender. Why does it look cardboard cut out? Because I have had a sever lack of sleep lately and that causes me to not even care how things turn out.

It means that you traced around the refernce image from the side view but didn't work any detail or extrusions along the depth of the gun; taking in account all 3 of its dimensions.

It's a good start, just keep working at it.

EDIT: Re-read your post. Guess you weren't asking, you were explaining. Oh well
