Exactly how much freedom does the 3d game maker have?
Does anyone here who has it know if you can make a game like Zelda? My brother thinks that he wants it.

Am I an Idiot...or is everyone else just really smart?

Its mainly for making FPS games. It doesn't really have all that much freedom, better learning to use DB.

You can also make driving, platform, 3rd person shooter etc. games though it's all geared around a 3rd person shooter engine.

No, not really. It is very limited. Most click and drops are. Try and convince him to go with DB.
