I am no modeller and that looks pretty good but the arms look a little too long and skinny.

Thats not bad at all for a first model - how many polys is it?

I agree the arms lok a little skinny as do the legs but they're not a problem.

Thats not a bug in the viewer - the faces are reversed.

Looks pretty good, pretty much all has been said.

"pretty much all has been said."

..tsk..tsk..

First off, this is great for a first try. Now, here's were the problem lies.

The arms are correctly proportioned with the chest/head. However the Hips and Legs need to be longer for proportion to be satisfied.
Also there's not that much definition giving way to a blocky look. Give the arms some muscle geometery, and get the lower body in spec with the upper body.

Bah...Are you not an artist? Or is your observation of the world dimmed? If I could find you in rl...I'd beat you to death with a figure drawing BOOK!!! (I'll leave you to guess weither or not I was joking )

I have a few on my comp, and most in my head.
Just go here:

There are some idealised drawings you could use. The rest..is um..
quite real.

BTW that website......errmmm....has a hentai banner and some nudity.
If your so inmature a friend says 'boob' and you laugh, then you probably shouldn't go there. You should grow up.
