hey,

I can't help you that much but would like to know something about this as well. I've been modeling for almost 3 months now and getting the hang of it. I made a locker, and animated it so it will open and close slowly, but I'm stuck at the scripting part. You should search on google, for something like milkshape animating tutorial, guess that's how I learned how to animate mine. Actually I pretty much found out myself. You need to make joints and attach the vertices to the right joints. There should be a tutorial somewhere. If anybody could teach me how to script the animations, please tell me. Good luck!

You need to attach the door to a bone in your modeling program, animate the bone. Take a look at the fpe for stock doors to work out how to use it in FPSC, you will need to put how many anim frames you use.
