Hi people. I am a newbie to DarkBASIC and have looked around in this forum section for tips on where to start learning this programming language.

But there's a lot of stuff to choose from and now I'm wondering...
Should I read the help file in DarkBASIC Pro first to learn this language and become familiar with it, and then try out the tutorials here?

Or should I start directly off the tutorials to learn more correctly how to code in DarkBASIC?

Thank you for taking your time to read this.

Try the tutorials first, there's no real point in aimlessly looking up commands in the help if you don't truly understand the core of the language, and the tutorials written by TDK on these forums are far better than any other tutorials you'll ever find.

TDK's tutorials can all be found here - http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=99497&b=10

Thanks

I'll try that.
