Ive went through my program, and it seems that the command

is crashing my program.

I went through all of the examples that came with the product as well and they crash with the same "This program has encountered an error and needs to close" message.

I also tried this:

But same result.

everything is in the correct path, and i have an "XWindow" folder like the plugin specifies.

My computer specs:
Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit
Synergy IDE (compiled in codesurge and DBP default, same problem)
6 gigs of ram
AMD Athlon 2 X4 2.6GHZ
Nvidia geforce 9500 GT 1gb.

any ideas?

I have found that the eXtends plug in doesn't work very well with Win Vista/7.

I had to write my own code to reproduce the extends Sky spheres, and for a couple of other bits I tried to use.

I would recomend searching the forums for Scraggles Bitmap Fonts, and the code snippets used for displaying these in DBPro.

I cannot test on Windows 7 if it work or not.
the main problem is that eXtends/2DPluginKIT are developed using PureBASIC so, the compatibility with Windows 7 depends on the compatibility of PureBASIC with it.

Did you try with the latest eXtends released few days ago ?

I've got an Enquiry Ticket open but I doubt it'll be resolved at any level higher than customer service and I'm not sure how to get a hold of Mike.

A reply:
"We've uploaded the latest version of this plugin to our servers. This is the latest release as far as we've been told. "

Will send an e-mail to Mike to see why the latest release is not available.

EDIT : I've tried to DL it again and now the file is Extends_010310.zip
it's the last version theorically.

It's better to uninstall eXtends and then install latest release.

Ok, I got a reply mail from Mike and it seems it's all taken care of. Thanks for that, and sorry for the thread hijack, all.
