Hi there,

I'm currently ... uuhmm... "investigating" this problem:

I can not use the command 'Camshake' in Horror Mod v.3.1 although Airmod should be integrated (or at least this command). I could contact knxrb about this problem, but would rather not bother him via email if the community can help me out.

I'm using this script for a Trigger Zone:

Quote: "
;Artificial Intelligence Script

;Header

desc = CamShake in Zone

;Triggers

:plrwithinzone=1:camshake=20

;End of Script
"

Please not I'm not using the latest version of Horror Mod (3.2) because this one won't work properly on my system. Anyway, I am working, as mentioned, on version 3.1 and would be very, very very happy if someone could help me out. Maybe there are conditions for this script to work (entry in setup.ini or anything?). Or should it work correctly this way (let's say on any other mod with AirMod integrated).

The effect on my screen for this script is: nothing. Could have deleted the TriggerZone, would be the same effect

Thanks for any replies!!

Can't see any problems with the script, but try the one below:

;Artificial Intelligence Script

;Header

desc = CamShake in Zone

;Triggers

:state=0:state=1
:state=1,plrwithinzone=1:camshake=20

;End of Script

Not sure whether it will work, because your first one should have. Place it in the main script of the trigger zone and put it where you want the shake to occur.

Yeah, that's what I feared

Thank you for your idea! I tried it, but didn't work. I assume Horror Mod either does not really support this command (I know there are/were a few that don't work, at least not for me) or it is possible as well that there's something about my system that does not like Horror Mod very much in some points

Thanks again, anyway.

No problem. CamShake should work if Horro Mod uses AirMod - I do know that it works in Project Blue.

instead, test run this script

::camshake=20

or for those who think it might not work

:state=0:camshake=20

that will confirm if the "camshake" command propperly works. If it does then your zone is the issue (or what you're using for a 'zone' object).

Its not who you are or what you've done... its WHY you did it and how far you are willing to go.
