hey im now to the whole game making thing... [tho i love it] sorry if this is stupid request. im trying to make a maze game with 1 main feature and my main problem is i have no idea if its even possible let alone how to do it, i want to make a time control system only rewinds and that you can rewind after death. im also trying to make it so the game is pitch black But when you walk along the ligth turn on and off... im using X9 if that helps.

again sorry if i sounded stupid

not strange at all. try to learn to script, the timing thing isnt possible, but the no lights/pitch black/find lightswitch is possible.

I'm confused by the term "rewind" for a timer. (reset?)
Can you explain it in another way?
You mean a timer that counts down like a launch sequence? (10-9-8-7...)

yeah prince of persia style tho death is more... permanant.
oh and with the light thing i want it to be as you walk along only the light around you will be on... i have been looking into the coding but i cant seem to find what i need in it. [tho i have it all printed out and stuck on the walls all over the house... :S thats how i learnt C++]but yeah. anyway ill still be going at it.
