Newcomers DBPro Corner / Blue background

I'm sure this must have been asked a million times before, but how do you get rid of the blue background when you enter 3D mode? Another question, why doesn't my texture statement work? The object just comes out black.

1)about the backdrop, just use the command: COLOR BACKDROP 0
that will turn it black...just change that number to change colors.
2)about your model...if the image you are loading was made for that model, then you don't need to load it or texture object...it should do it by itself
