Newcomers DBPro Corner / cshop targa display issue

this is more of a pc/display problem but hoping someone here has had similar problem and might have a solution.

Created a tgs\targa semi transparent picture in photo shop and have been using them fine in cshop however when i installed cshop onto my other computer "acer laptop" cshop runs normally accept that my tga textures show up white same file from my other pc but it doesnt display properly. any input would be helpfull. running windows xp servic pacl 3 atm on the laptop got active x updated ect.

i have next to zero experience with tga files but i would first make sure your laptop is running at 32 bit screen depth. if it's 16, your transparency won't (not) show

did u try converting it to png, dds or gif?
it might be a problem with the format. (even though i havnt had problems before with tga)

yes it is running at 32 bit. and i havnt tried converting it to another format cause i need it as a tga for the semi transparency. works fine on one pc just not the other unknown reason
