Wow great thanks! Just what I need.

EDIT: Ahh your pack=FAIL!!!! The v8 engine sounds are from Half Life 2 Episode 2 vehicle,I can clearly reckognize the flesh wound sounds from Counter Strike Source,the walking sounds are clearly from one of the Half Life games,the pickup sounds sound like Left 4 Dead and I could go on and on.Explain...

I edit the sounds. most are from Valve. I have a buddy of mine that works with the main company in Washington state... my pack doesnt fail. you do.

weapon sounds are mine.
sewer sounds are mine.
music is mine.
most sound fx are mine.

i deleted the pack. i did it when i saw 10 downloads and only one comment.

Doesnt matter if you know someone in Valve,without proper proof that they allowed you to use or modify the sounds,its illegal.Read some licenses from the games next time a bit.

Yes, instead of saying, oh you fail, you copier, and what not, why not just talk it out, ask him if he can provide us with written permission from the person he knows in VALVE, or if he can give a more detailed explanation...

However I may be concerned with the 'fishyness' of this, we can still act rather maturely, can't we?

He's failed to give a real explanation bar "my mate works for Valve"...

There's no post from his mate, not even an EMail quote that could prove it slightly. I personally think that his conscience made him take the download down - if it was truly legitimate, what was the fuss?

Immaturity is okay if it's playful... But you just try to one-up each other like kids then it can be self-destructive.
Also, I naturally try to take over situations that are going downhill. I grow up with a little brother with parents that aren't always around; I sometimes need to point things in the right direction.
