I am currently using the trial copy of DarkBasic. I was trying out the Binary moon tutorial to get a feel for things while I wait until the full version arrives. I can run the first lesson fine, and move around the matrix. But when I start the second lesson, and get to the line where you type
load object "media/arena.3ds",100
it says that this is not available in the trial version. I can rem that one line, and everything runs fine. Also, the room program that comes with the trial version of dark basic (the one with the scorpion and the ball) loads several objects, and it runs fine. Any suggestions?

Download the source pack - the file is on the front page of the tutorials. It includes that file and lots of others you'll need as you go through them.

Cheers,
