I was wondering if there was a way to make it so that enemies don't run through the walls of the entity buildings/fall through them upon death. I've been having this problem, and obviously, it kills the realism more than a bit. I apologize if this is a basic question, but I've never used pre-made buildings before, and as far as I know, the collision should be set to "1", which it is by default. Is this not the case? I always built out of segments, but it was too rough on the engine. Thanks!

I tend to set the collision to "0" myself, but to be honest I still don't fully understand FPSc lol

A good way to cure collision errors like that is to use invisible segment walls/floors here and there. i.e. segments with a 100% alpha texture.

I only use this for fun and have no interest in making commercial games ^_^

I have invisible barrior walls set up in my modern house pack, there pretty easy to make. just make a wall or square to set around a table, becouse sometimes you can fall through the floor around tables. then make the wall or square transparent within its materials, then on the texture make shure you texture it with a transparent alpha texture.

it should be set to 1 and you should use fpsc cleaner to be sure your changes take effect.

Thanks guys!

JZ28: Collision is currently set to 1 already, so unfortunately, I don't think that is the problem, although I wish it was because that'd be an easy fix.

Nbt:
I tried setting it to 0, but unfortunately, it didn't help anything. I actually would have like to line the buildings with invisible segments, but the problem is that the entity buildings do not align to the size of the grid, so there's no way for me to make the walls match up.

Daniel wright 2311: Since segments don't line up, that's actually why I was going to ask you if you were referring to segments as well, or is it possible for me to do something with entities? Does it have to be a segment to have proper collision?

yes, I make them just regular modles as entities, walls, boxes to go around stuff for better collition like tables or what not. there not invisible in the editor when there placed but there invisible in game.the walls are the same and are placed where i need the best collition.

Alright, thanks! I'll try whipping up some invisible entities and let you know how it goes! (Right now, I only have those invisible segments that were floating around the boards some time ago.)
