I got given a assignment for school, basically I just have to "research" about 3d modelling(and build a website/I really hate that)

eg, timeline/history, general info, cool stuff etc

I'm having trouble with the "timeline/history" bit, so can anyone help me, like gimme a good URl to look at with useful, educational(I hate that word) stuff on it about 3D modelling/animating.

but what else would you expect from the creators of the first Computer Generated Graphics program Maya
